Stainless Steel Wall Enclosures for the Food Industry
HD stainless steel control enclosures are specially designed for use in the food industry. HD stands for Hygienic Design. The silicone gaskets can be easily cleaned, as they are removable. Silicone is used instead of rubber or polyurethane because it is more resistant to the aggressive cleaning agents commonly used in food processing. As a result, it lasts much longer and helps prevent unnecessary leaks.
There are no openings or holes in the material, and there is ample space all around to allow for thorough cleaning. In addition, the roof of an HD stainless steel enclosure is sloped, ensuring optimal drainage and preventing any accumulation of dust or dirt.
Wall Enclosures Compliant with EHEDG Guidelines
Specifically, for the HD wall enclosures in the QSH series, the blue-colored RAL5010 silicone seals are a distinctive feature. The enclosures are sealed to IP69K standards, in accordance with EHEDG guidelines. This makes it easier to detect the seals in case any fragments accidentally end up in the product.
As with the QSH and QLSE series, there are no holes or crevices, and all surfaces are designed for easy cleaning. The sloped roof design ensures optimal water drainage and prevents the buildup of dust or debris.
The enclosures are available in AISI304 or AISI316L stainless steel and are offered in a wide range of standard sizes. Custom sizes and modifications are also possible through our custom fabrication service.
