IDEC PLCs

CC Nederland’s range is divided into compact PLCs and modular PLCs from the A-brand IDEC. Additionally, there is an all-in-one PLC available, which integrates a PLC within a touchscreen. IDEC PLCs are known for their reliability, worldwide applicability, and easy programming.

Compact PLC: a brick type

A compact PLC is also called a brick type PLC. The IDEC FT1A series consists of compact PLCs that carry all necessary certifications (CE and UL), including maritime certifications such as ABS, DNV-GL, LR, and NK. This makes these compact PLCs especially suitable for installations on board ships. They are also widely used in horticultural machines, packaging machines, metalworking machines, transport systems, and pharmaceutical machines. Compact PLCs are often used to control small standalone machines that are not networked or do not require high processing power.

Modular PLC: extensive expansion options

The FC6A series consists of modular PLCs. These feature multiple communication options and can be expanded with cards. They are therefore ideally suited for heavier control processes, such as gas detection systems or other systems requiring large data input. The PLCs can also be extended with an HMI that includes a web server, allowing adjustment, monitoring, and control via a web browser. Additionally, email notifications can be configured to alert users of warnings or messages.

All-in-one PLC: save space, wiring, and time

The all-in-one PLC integrates a touch panel directly with the PLC. This allows machines to be operated straight from the touchscreen, eliminating the need for separate PLCs, control cabinets, or HMIs. It simplifies programming, operation, monitoring, and maintenance. Log data can be easily saved using the integrated datalogging function with USB memory. Programs can also be easily modified. Within the FT1A series, you can choose between a color LCD screen or a monochrome screen.

HMI Touchscreen: versatile HMI with a smart design

The IDEC HMI Touchscreens make programming much easier by replacing buttons and mechanical switches with innovative touchscreens. They provide sharp images with excellent visibility, featuring high pixel resolutions in monochrome or 256 colors. Space is often limited, which is addressed by the slim design of the HMI Touchscreens. These can be used as standalone controllers or communicate with IDEC PLCs and a wide range of PLCs from major manufacturers. The touchscreens connect to all equipment, enabling graphical data presentations such as bar charts and meters.

Mobile HMI: portable model with ergonomic design

The Mobile HMI is designed to enhance accessibility and ease of use. Its ergonomic design ensures it fits comfortably in the hand. Combined with its light weight (500g), it allows extended use without fatigue. The robust design withstands drops from up to 1.5 meters without damage. Depending on communication needs, Mobile HMIs are available with Ethernet or RS422/RS485 communication. One Mobile HMI can control multiple machines.
