DB Distribution Box
The icotek DB Distribution Box is fully divisible and allows 360° cable entry and routing. It can guide, seal, and provide strain relief for cables with or without connectors, in compliance with DIN EN 62444.
The distribution box is compatible with the KT-DT feed-through gland system, accommodating cables with diameters ranging from 1 to 15mm. When using multiple feed-through glands, up to 48 cables can be routed, achieving a very high cable density. Cables can be distributed 360° in virtually any desired direction from the central point. The icotek distribution box fits standard metric cutouts and is secured with the included lock nut. Thanks to the screw-on lid and the use of split cable glands, retrofitting and servicing are possible.
The 360° cable entry can be combined in many ways with the KT gland system and icotek’s hybrid IMAS-CONNECT™ adapter system, resulting in an extremely flexible cable routing and entry system that is also quick to install.
The feed-through has certifications such as ECOLAB, HL3 EN 45545-2, and RoHS. Its protection rating is IP54, and the permissible temperature range is between -40°C and +140°C. The new icotek Distribution Box is made of polyamide and is halogen- and silicone-free.
