Split cable glands

By using ICOTEK's split cable glands, cables with diameters ranging from 1 to 35 mm can be quickly installed into enclosures, control panels, or machinery. These glands provide a sealed connection up to IP68 and UL NEMA 4X rating, ensuring protection against moisture and dust. Additionally, the cable glands act as strain relief for the cables.

The split design of ICOTEK's cable glands enables fast and easy installation, making them ideal for retrofits and maintenance. Unlike conventional glands, pre-assembled connector cables or complete cable harnesses can be routed without cutting and reattaching connectors—preserving cable warranties and saving significant installation time.

Electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic lines without connectors, as well as corrugated conduits and hoses, can also be easily routed and sealed using these split cable glands. Moreover, the glands provide immediate strain relief for the lines.

Fully Split and User-Friendly

ICOTEK's split cable glands enable fast and simple installation thanks to their fully divisible design. The cable is placed into a gland insert housed within one half of the gland. Thanks to the precise clamping range for different cable diameters, the insert ensures a tight, secure fit around the cable or hose.

Depending on the gland size, you can install one, two, or four separate inserts. Using multi-cable inserts, a single gland can accommodate up to 16 cables. The two gland halves assemble easily—some models even require no tools. Mounting options include snap-in installation or securing with a hex lock nut.

  • KVT-ER Split Gland – Delivers high protection (IP67/IP68) with an integrated seal and strain relief compliant with EN 62444. Available for M25-M63 cutouts.

  • KVT Split Gland (IP54) – A proven ICOTEK solution featuring tool-free mounting with KT inserts. Compatible with M20-M63 cutouts.

  • KVT 80 Split Gland – Designed for front mounting with a 100mm diameter, ideal for passing large connectors like CEE plugs.

  • KVT Snap Split Gland – Enables tool-free assembly (simply snap together) and is optimized for large-connector cables. Optional lock nut available.

  • KVT-W90 Angled Split Gland – Allows 90° cable entry relative to the panel, perfect for protective conduits. Available for M32 and M50 cutouts.

  • QVT Compact Split Gland (IP54) – Features ultra-low profile and tool-free QT insert mounting. Fits M16-M50 cutouts.

  • QVT-CLICK Split Gland (M16-M40) – Enables direct snap-in installation, making it ideal for maintenance and retrofits.
